MAGIC AND MYSTERY FESTIVAL IN BLOIS
An original festival is organized
at Maison de la Magie
during the Toussaint holidays and involves the encounter of the two
neighbouring themes, magic and mystery.
Celebrating their 10 year
anniversary, the Sherlock Holmes society in France will be the honorary host
of the house Robert-Houdin, the 25th and 26th
October 2003 and will be participating in the diverse events : visit of the
town in costume, role-playing, literary exploration , prize giving, Victorian
gala evening, conferences and projections.
Expert on magic and big collector, Hjalmar will be inaugurating the exhibition " Magic and Criminology "
(25 Oct - 4 Jan 2004) which will be featuring
unique - never exposed pieces.
With some of the evasion techniques of Houdini, the
atmosphere is set to recreate the heroes of Conan Doyle and to remind us of
the connections that tie these two creators of spiritism
together.
